My foray into small business development really started when I was a child working craft fairs and flea markets with my mother. I found myself producing inventory, marketing the product and providing customer service. It never occurred to me my mother was in fact teaching me how to be a successful business owner.
I left the days of hot glue gun burns and pulling yarn out of my hair behind me and went on about my life in search of the ‘Dream’. While pursuing degrees in Accounting and Business and serving full time for AmeriCorps, I discovered I had a knack for development. All kinds: Economic, career, program and business.
Every opportunity has given me a little more experience and a little more knowledge. I learn something new everyday and I love to share it with those who could use it. I’ve been blessed enough to work with amazing organizations and learn skills in several areas. I am an abstract thinker who is able to see the big picture as well as the smaller pieces that comprise it.
I believe that everyone deserves a chance to realize their dream and it is my purpose to share what I have learned with them.
